Cute Baby Doll Really Coos and Giggles
The adorable baby doll has plastic hands and head and a soft body and legs. She's dressed in permanent underclothes, booties and an attached headband (additional "Baby Alive" outfits are available for separate purchase). She has a sweet face featuring cartoonish, oversized eyes that will delight little girls. Press her tummy to hear a variety of baby sounds. Most of the sounds, including giggling and cooing, are pretty realistic -- although our child tester thought one of them sounded like a cat purring. The sounds are very easy to activate -- perhaps too easy! Beware if you're trying to keep the doll quiet, because there's no "off" switch to prevent accidental noises during your child's nap time.

Feed, Carry, and Rock Baby to Sleep
The baby carrier has a lightweight plastic frame and printed fabric cover. The baby doll fits into a snug pouch that's secured with Velcro straps. Like most small children, our child tester is fascinated with real babies, so she immediately took to carrying the baby in her carrier just like the real mothers she's seen.

The carrier can be used basket style, carried on the crook of an arm; it also comes with straps so a child can wear it as a front pack. Fold the carrier down and prop it on its handles to use it as a rocking bassinet, or sit it up on one handle as a feeding chair. The child can feed her with the included toy baby bottle. Finally, the carrier can be folded closed to use as a travel bag. While it's very easy to configure the carrier, younger children will need some assistance in figuring it out.

Plenty of Room for Imagination
Although the doll does require batteries, we love that the toy's functionality doesn't dictate or put limitations on the terms of the child's play. Unlike other specialized, battery-operated toys that offer a limited range of functions, this toy offers versatile props that really foster a child's imaginative role playing.

This Baby Alive doll comes with 3 AAA batteries. A Phillips screwdriver required to replace them.

Very adorable doll

This doll is really cute, cuddly, and adorable. She makes cute noises when you press her belly. She has an attached diaper so little ones can have fun changing her diaper without it getting lost. Her eyes are really sweet too. Sound can't be turned off, so she isn't the best doll to sleep with. She's a great doll for kids ages 12 months and up. She is a great size for little hands and not heavy at all. Because of the carrier and bottle and noises, she is great for older kids too - she's really great for pretend play and being just like mommy.

The baby alive newborn line is a great one (we have the sip and snooze doll too), especially for the littlest kids. Also, ignore the previous review. This doll DOES come out of the carrier.
Fun for toddlers!

We bought this doll when my daughter was 18 months old. The soft body makes this doll managable for toddlers (no hard limbs to get in the way).
Yes, the doll CAN be removed from the carrier.

Carrier can be folded in several ways to form a purse, cradle, carrier, snugli, and chair.
The carrier is fairly large (12" estimate) but the doll is a bit on the small side (9" estimate)

When you press the dolls belly button it makes coo-ing noises. Not very educational but it is entertaining.
The headband is permanently affixed to the dolls head, which is great b/c it's not a choking hazard and it won't get lost.

The diaper is also permanently affixed, but can be undone in the front for "pretend" diaper changes.

The battery compartment can be removed and is velcroed inside of the doll - accessable through her back.

My major complaints here are that the doll is spot clean only & that within 3-4 months the fabric on the carrier has become frayed and is tearing apart at the seams - from normal use! Because of this, I've ordered another set...

In summary it's a reasonably durable doll, that cannot be cleaned - fun for toddlers, but might not be so great for older kids
Cutest baby doll with lifelike sounds

We were surprised to hear this baby doll make sounds that sounds very realistic! My 2 1/2 yr old loves it and the carrier is awesome! She can feed it like a high chair, get it ready to go in the car or wear it like a backpack or frontpack. She loves hearing the baby coo and gurgle and giggle. So cute! I would say this is one of my favorites for sure!
A good toy with many features

Baby Go Everywhere

Reviewer: J. Jones,
I got this toy for my daughter's 4th birthday and she just loves it so much it really does go bye bye to where ever we go. She has a soft body (battery case inside)with plastic hands and a hard head. you can't remove her clothes which is great for me. My daughter likes to pretend change her though because you can undo the front of the baby's "diaper" undies. I left it on demo mode so she has to press her belly button to make baby noises. I found it a bit annoying when at the slightest nudge it would start.
I think this is a cute baby doll to get your child from one year (my niece likes to give it kisses) to whatever age girls stop liking dolls.
